Jabi Boat Club Review: A Treat for the Taste Buds and the Wallet

It was a beautiful day at the Jabi Boat Club. The sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze in the air. As a lover of all things water-related, I was excited to visit the Jabi Boat Club in Abuja. Located on the beautiful Jabi Lake, the club offers a variety of water sports and activities for visitors to enjoy.

Upon arrival, I was impressed by the beautiful surroundings and well-maintained facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they provided us with all the necessary equipment for our chosen activity - a boat ride around the lake.

However, my excitement was short-lived when we were told the price for the boat ride - a whopping 50,000 naira per hour. Unfortunately, this was a bit too steep for us, so we decided to explore the other offerings at the club instead.

Food at Jabi Boat Club, Abuja

Despite the high price for a boat ride, we were determined to make the most of our time there. One thing that did catch our eye was the variety of local delicacies on offer. I had the pleasure of trying the smoked jellof rice, a flavorful and satisfying dish that was served alongside a refreshing salad. My dining companion, Eni, opted for the fried potato, which was crispy and well-seasoned. And Emah couldn't resist the tempting chicken and chips, a classic combination that never fails to please.

Grilled Snail and source at Jabi Boat Club

But the real standout at Jabi Boat Club was the grilled snail, a delicacy that I had never tried before. The snails were cooked to perfection, with a smoky and slightly spicy flavor that was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're feeling adventurous.

Despite not being able to participate in a boat ride, we still had a pleasant experience at the Jabi Boat Club. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. However, the steep price for the boat rides may deter some visitors from fully experiencing all that the club has to offer. If the prices were a bit more reasonable, I would definitely consider returning in the future.

After filling our stomachs, we decided to take a walk around the club. The views of the lake were stunning, and we took plenty of photos to remember the day. Eni even offered to take a photo of me, which turned out quite nicely.

Overall, our visit to the Jabi Boat Club was a memorable experience, even though we didn't end up going for a boat ride. The food was delicious and the views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone visiting Abuja.
