Arsenal Host Manchester United In A Low-Scoring Fixture On Saturday

Arsenal crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of Southampton so when the pair met again at St Mary's in midweek in the Premier League, the Gunners were out for revenge. The Saints took an early lead through Armstrong but Arsenal responded well and leveled the scoreline through Pepe. Before the break, Arsenal scored again to go 2-1 up and in the second half a goal from Lacazette wrapped up all 3 points for the visitors.

Manchester United were expecting a win at home to Sheffield United and that complacency cost the home side in midweek. Bryan scored his first goal for Sheffield United, a header from a corner, and the visitors lead 1-0 at the interval. Manchester United  equalized through Harry Maguire shortly after the hour mark and many thought the hosts would go on to win the game. However, 10-minutes later Burke put the ball into the back of the net for Sheffield United and the Blades held on to secure a famous and much-needed victory.

Both of these teams head into Saturday's clash level in the form guide. Arsenal and Manchester United have secured four wins, one draw and suffered one defeat in their last six matches. The hosts are unbeaten in their last four home games, while Manchester United haven't lost any of their last six away games in all competitions.

These two huge clubs have locked horns 192 times over the years and with 81 wins, 45 draws and 66 defeats, it's Manchester United that lead the head-to-head record. However, in recent seasons, Arsenal have had the better of Manchester United, picking up three wins and a draw from the pair's last four encounters.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed Tuesday's game for personal reasons but could return to face Man Utd this weekend. The hosts have concerns over the fitness of Ceballos, Tierney, Rowe and Partey, some will face late fitness tests.

Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Brandon Williams have been ruled out of the trip to the Emirates through injury, while Bailly is currently being assessed but could return to the squad to face Arsenal.

PREDICTION: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE.
