Arsenal Vs Tottenham: Spurs Looking To Retain North London Bragging Rights When They Face Arsenal On Sunday.

Arsenal have lost three of their last six league games, although they have managed to secure wins over Leeds United and Leicester City in that time. Defeats to Wolves, Aston Villa and Manchester City have prevented Mikel Arteta’s men from pushing for a European place, with a 1-1 draw coming against Burnley last time out.

Arsenal looked in complete control at Turf Moor and took the lead after just six minutes through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. However, a costly mistake from Granit Xhaka gifted Burnley an equaliser and ultimately cost the Gunners two points last weekend.

Tottenham have turned things around in recent weeks, winning each of their previous three league games. A damaging run of five losses in six games across January and February saw Spurs slip out of the European spots. However, victories over Burnley, Fulham and Crystal Palace have seen Jose Mourinho’s side climb back up the table lately.

Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-0 in the reverse fixture back in December, thanks to goals from Son Heung-min and Kane. That means that Spurs are unbeaten in their last five meetings with the Gunners, picking up three wins and two draws in that time.

Arsenal only have one injury concern heading into the North London derby. Emile Smith Rowe could return to the side this weekend after missing recent games.

Serge Aurier looks set to return for Tottenham, although Giovani Lo Celso is likely to miss out with a back problem.
