EPL; Arsenal And Liverpool To Cancel Each Other On Saturday 3rd Of April.

Arsenal head into this clash having lost just one of their previous eight home matches in the Premier League.  A win would take the Gunners to within one point of Jurgen Klopp’s men, although Liverpool could leapfrog Tottenham and West Ham if they claim all three points. However, Mikel Arteta’s men have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 12 games in all competitions.

Arsenal are now enjoying a four-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League, Following a run of three defeats in four league games. Victories over Leicester and Tottenham, as well as draws with Burnley and West Ham, have kept the club’s fading European dreams alive.  Arsenal were 3-0 down against West Ham last time out, yet they eventually managed to turn things around and snatch a 3-3 draw.

Liverpool can take confidence from the fact that they have keep a clean sheet in each of their last three away games in all competitions. But when you look at the bigger picture, thing don’t look good for Liverpool. Indeed, Klopp’s men have lost six of their last eight league matches and ten of their previous 13.

Liverpool have only lost three of their previous 18 road trips, with two straight away wins coming in the Premier League. On a brighter note, Diogo Jota bagged three goals in two games for Portugal during the international break. Jota has spent a large portion of the season sidelined through injury, but he appears to have returned to action in good form.

Liverpool and Arsenal played out a dull goalless draw in the reverse fixture back in October. Liverpool have only lost one of their last 14 games against Arsenal in all competitions, with the Gunners winning 2-1 last year.

Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are both expected to be fit for Arsenal after picking up minor knocks while on international duty.

Liverpool are still without Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip, although Roberto Firmino is close to making a return.

PREDICTION: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE.
