Leeds and Liverpool set for another high-scoring encounter On Monday 19th, April 2021.

Leeds United head into Monday’s clash having won each of their previous three Premier League matches. Marcelo Bielsa’s men have seen off Fulham, Sheffield United and Manchester City in recent weeks, winning 2-1 on every occasion. Despite playing the entire second half with ten men, Leeds managed to get the better of Man City last weekend.

Leeds United saw just 28% possession at the Etihad Stadium, with Stuart Dallas scoring both goals with his team’s only two shots on target. Having scored 49 goals and conceded 49 goals, Bielsa’s side are the only team in the Premier League with a goal difference of 0.

Liverpool gave a good account of themselves and caused Real Madrid plenty of problems on Wednesday. However, despite seeing 57% possession and recording 14 shots, the Reds were unable to prevent a goalless draw – knocking them out of the Champions League.

Liverpool also head into Monday’s game on a three-match winning streak in the Premier League. The Reds may have lost eight of their last 15 league games, but it is worth noting that they have only lost two of their previous 13 away games in England’s top-flight. Let's not forget that Liverpool have also kept a clean sheet in each of their last three matches in the Premier League.

Remarkably, Liverpool are unbeaten in their previous nine meetings with Leeds in all competitions. The Reds beat Leeds 4-3 on the opening weekend of the season, with Mohamed Salah bagging a hat-trick.

PREDICTION: LIVERPOOL TO WIN AND OVER 2.5 GOALS TO BE EXPECTED.
